Assessment Annotation
Give feedback on evidence live, in the platform
Tutors comment directly on a learner's evidence, and learners add their own commentary as they submit. Neuvex keeps the whole conversation on the work itself, from the first submission.
Try it yourself
Mark up evidence the way you'd review it
This is the annotation workspace. Choose a tool and a colour, click a paragraph, add your comment and watch it appear in the side panel. Click a highlight to jump to its comment.

Reflective account: Unit 3
Handling customer enquiries
During my placement this month I handled five customer enquiries. For each one I recorded what the customer needed, checked the options available and agreed the next steps before ending the call.
I found that customers were calmer when I explained what I was doing as I went. One customer told me it was the first time she had felt properly listened to, which showed me how much the opening minutes shape the whole conversation.
Next month I want to build my confidence with more complex requests, and I will ask a colleague to observe me so I can get feedback on my approach.
What I would do differently
On my third call I rushed through the follow-up information because we were running late. The customer rang back later with a question I should have answered at the time.
Since then I have created a short checklist that I use at the end of every call so that nothing is missed.
My manager has asked me to share the checklist with the wider team at our next meeting.
Evidence of standards met
This account links to the knowledge, skills and behaviours in my learning plan for communication, customer service and working with others.
I have attached two call records (with permission) and my manager's witness statement as supporting evidence.

Submission to feedback
Digital from the very first submission
Assessment annotation lets your organisation manage learner evidence digitally from the get-go. Evidence, commentary and feedback all stay together, which encourages learners, tutors and employers to use the system.

Inside the workspace
Everything a tutor needs to give clear feedback
Mark up the evidence itself
Select, highlight text or draw a box right on the learner's work, so feedback points at exactly what it is about.
Comments tied to the selection
Every annotation carries a comment and shows the part of the evidence it relates to.
Colour-coded feedback
Choose from a range of colours to separate praise, questions and areas to improve.
Multi-page evidence
Move through longer evidence, zoom in and out, and see which page each annotation was made on.
Every annotation listed
A side panel lists each annotation with who made it and when, so feedback is easy to follow.
Annotation Available
Annotated submissions are clearly flagged, so learners know feedback is waiting.
Alongside the evidence
Off-the-job hours, right on the submission
A submission isn't just a file. The submission page also shows the off-the-job hours that go with it, with submitted, override and effective figures side by side, so evidence and compliance are reviewed together.
- Submitted additional hours shown with the evidence
- An override for the reviewer when needed

Frequently Asked Questions
Here is my account for Unit 3. I'm least sure about the section on what I'd do differently.
Thanks Jamie. I've annotated pages 1 and 2, so take a look and let me know what you think.
That's really clear, thank you. I'll expand the second section.
